Job summary

Bayer in Texas, USA seeks a Lab Analyst I to perform chemical and physical analyses in a production site laboratory. You will conduct product release and in-process tests, calibrate equipment, and manage samples in SAP/LIMS while supporting GMP documentation.

Youll work with Unit Leads, apply scientific methods, and follow ESH policies, QA/QMS, and regulatory standards. The role may require driving a company vehicle and some weekend/overtime work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with prior lab experience.
• Fluent in English with the ability to read, write, and speak effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record for company car eligibility.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to work as a team member and communicate in a multicultural environment.
• Shift hours may change; weekends and overtime may be required.
• This position may require driving a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Conduct timely and accurate preparation, evaluation, and recording of seed analyses to ensure high-quality results.
• Collaborate with Unit Lead(s) and End-to-End Mission team to complete testing processes and data management.
• Apply scientific methods and non-routine techniques for analysis per protocols and work instructions.
• Operate within Bayers ESH policies, QMS, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide oversight to contingent labor and promote collaboration.
• Manage inventory levels of reagents and consumables for smooth operations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analyses.
• Engage in cross-site safety programs and company initiatives.
