Job summary

Bachem Americas is seeking a Quality Control Scientist to perform routine QC testing, document results, and ensure GMP compliance in a peptide manufacturing environment. You will coordinate with QC and other departments, maintain SOPs, calibrate instruments, and support batch release activities in a fast-paced facility.

The role requires a chemistry degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s preferred), strong analytical skills with HPLC/UPLC, GC and UV spectrophotometry, and the ability to work 5:00am–3:30pm

Qualifications

• Experience with GMP pharma/biotech facilities.
• Strong knowledge of analytical instruments (GC, HPLC/UPLC, UV).
• Ability to write and revise SOPs and control documents.

Responsibilities

• Perform raw material and final product testing and documentation.
• Maintain GMP-compliant QC procedures and equipment verification.
• Test and release materials and in-process samples for GMP compliance.
• Prepare and review certificates of analysis and quality documentation.
