Microbac Laboratories, Inc. is seeking an Analyst I to perform routine scientific tasks in an accredited commercial laboratory.

You will work under close supervision, following detailed instructions to support analytical testing for clients across environmental, food, nutrition and life-science applications. The role involves preparing standards and reagents, operating lab instruments, recording data, and assisting with quality and safety programs.

Formación

• Basic knowledge of laboratory principles, terminology, practices and instrumentation.
• Ability to prioritize work and manage time to meet deadlines.
• Computer literacy and ability to work with delicate lab equipment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Follow established SOPs and accreditation requirements to prepare and process samples for analytical testing.
• Prepare standards, solutions, reagents, media, and samples for analyses.
• Utilize specialized lab equipment to process and analyze samples and set up equipment.
• Accurately record observations and data with basic interpretation.
• Maintain logs, notebooks, and equipment records; assist with data entry into LIMS.
• May perform duties of Technical Manager or Study Manager as needed.
• Support safety and quality programs and participate in backlog monitoring.

Educación

High School Diploma or Bachelor's degree
