Job summary

SGS North America Inc. is seeking a Lab Analyst for our Dayton, NJ laboratory to join the General Chemistry team.

You will prepare and analyze samples in accordance with SGS SOPs, working both independently and with the team to meet daily targets and ensure hold times and turnaround times are met. Requirements include an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry (0–2 years' experience preferred), strong English, basic math and computer skills, and ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

Advanced English language skills.
Basic reasoning and mathematical skills.
Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare and analyze samples according to SGS SOPs using department instrumentation.
Perform routine operation, maintenance, calibration of laboratory instruments/equipment.
May assist with validation and LOQ studies.
Assist with investigations and responses to client inquiries and CAPs.
Input and maintain technical information to support lab operations.
Maintain Laboratory Notebook as required.
Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
