Job summary

SGS is recruiting for a Laboratory Analyst in Dayton, NJ. The position requires preparing and analyzing samples in line with established protocols, ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Candidates should have relevant experience in analytical chemistry and familiarity with laboratory practices.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in Analytical Chemistry Laboratories OR 3 years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with laboratory SOPs and analytical methodologies.
• Experience in performing routine maintenance on laboratory instruments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze samples according to SGS’ analytical SOPs.
• Perform routine operation and maintenance of laboratory instruments.
• Assist with validation studies and preparation of client responses.

Skills

Basic mathematical and reasoning skills

Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)

Ability to lift/carry/push and/or pull upwards of 25 lbs

Education

Associate Degree in Chemistry or similar scientific discipline

Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or similar scientific discipline
