We are hiring a Laboratory Analyst for our Aurora, CO factory!
As a Quality Control Laboratory Analyst, you will apply validated methods and work instructions to perform routine analyses, ensuring all raw, semi-finished, and finished products are properly analyzed and monitored. Responsibilities include method transfer, data evaluation, instrument calibration, and participating in collaborative testing activities.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Ensuring compliance with PMI, legal, environmental, health, safety, and sustainability standards.
- Promoting a safety-first culture using preventive and predictive approaches.
- Performing tests on raw materials, tobacco, and finished products according to established procedures.
- Reporting analysis results accurately and timely in the laboratory management system.
- Reviewing and releasing testing results of colleagues.
- Participating in method validation, transfer activities, and ISO 17025 accreditation.
- Assisting in the creation and review of quality documentation.
- Providing training and support to staff.
- Calibrating and maintaining laboratory equipment as per standards.
- Maintaining logbooks and performing peer reviews.
- Investigating deviations and implementing corrective actions.
- Participating in interlaboratory testing and quality projects.
- Ensuring adherence to QMS and ISO standards.
- Proposing cost-efficiency measures and resource management.
- Communicating effectively with teams to support quality and productivity goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of laboratory experience or Master’s Degree with 2 years in Chemistry, Engineering, or similar science field.
- Experience in quality and laboratory work in regulated industries like tobacco, food, or pharma.
- Proficiency in HPLC, GCMS, Agilent software, and LabVantage LIMS.
- Strong analytical skills, knowledge of quality tools, root cause analysis, and statistical methods.
- Ability to generate reports and train junior staff.
- Knowledge of ISO 17025; FDA experience is a plus.

- Hourly Rate: $30-$36
