Job summary

Moonbug Entertainment in Los Angeles is seeking an HR Assistant to serve as an operational anchor for the Global People & Culture team. This role bridges team administration, payroll support, new-hire onboarding, candidate logistics, and front-of-house hospitality, ensuring a welcoming experience from day one.

This on-site position reports to the LA office five days a week, with typical hours 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of HR, payroll, or high-volume administrative support experience.
• Exercises discretion and maintains strict confidentiality.
• Familiarity with HRIS and ATS systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Payroll support and HR administration for bi-weekly and semi-monthly cycles.
• Lead new-hire onboarding workflows and I-9 verifications.
• Coordinate interviews, background checks, and offer packages.
• Front desk cover and basic office operations as needed.
