Job summary

Co-op Academy Grange is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to provide in-class support for individual and groups, including students in resource provision. You will develop personalised learning using innovative methods to engage learners and promote confidence.

You will foster an inclusive classroom and work as part of a team to support children with SEN and their growth. The role emphasizes creativity, IT usage and outdoor learning in practice.

Qualifications

• Excellent practitioner with strong SEND knowledge.
• Confident in the classroom and understands how children with SEND learn.
• High expectations and ability to build positive relationships with children.
• Flexible, humorous, proactive and able to work independently or in a team.
• Comfortable using IT and outdoor learning in practice.

Are you a dedicated and experienced educator passionate about making a difference in the lives of Children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? At Co-op Academy Grange, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will provide in class support for individual students and groups of students, including those in mainstream school and in our resource provision. You will develop and implement personalised learning to support each pupil’s unique needs and abilities using innovative teaching methods and resources to engage and inspire young learners. You will foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes confidence and growth
