Job summary

Applied Control is seeking a Learning and Development Specialist to design and deliver training for our workforce in Centennial, CO. The role covers virtual, blended, and instructor-led programs, plus onboarding and safety training.

You will manage the LMS, build analytics, and partner with leaders to close skill gaps. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 3+ years in learning and development, with strong PM, communication, and data-analysis skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 3+ years in learning and development or related roles.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and evaluation practices.
• Experience using LMS and common content-development tools.
• Strong project management, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze learning data and communicate insights clearly.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops virtual, blended, and instructor-led training solutions.
• Supports onboarding and role-specific training to accelerate readiness.
• Partners with leaders to identify learning needs and priorities.
• Manages annual compliance programs and reporting.
• Supports safety training and procurement of courses.
• Facilitates training sessions and develops facilitator guides and e-learning content.
• Translates technical content into accessible learning experiences.
• Evaluates programs and recommends improvements.
• Administers the LMS and builds learning analytics and reporting.
• Maintains training records and supports compliance requirements.
• Keeps up with L&D trends and recommends enhancements.
• Coordinates program logistics as needed.
