Job summary
Northwest Medical Center, Women's Center in Tucson seeks an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to care for mother and baby in a 14-private-room unit. You will provide patient-centered care using the nursing process and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff to ensure high quality outcomes.

Qualifications
- Proficient in nursing process and clinical nursing practices.
- Able to perform thorough patient assessments and document findings.
- Knowledge of medications, side effects, and monitoring.
- Effective communication with multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of safety, infection control, and quality improvement.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process.
- Coordinate with physicians and care teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Monitor patients and administer medications as prescribed.
- Educate patients and families on care plans and postpartum guidance.
- Maintain infection control protocols and patient safety standards.
- Document care thoroughly in medical records.
- Respond to emergencies and participate in life-saving interventions as needed.
