Danbury Hospital in Danbury, CT, is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Delivery Room. The role requires CT RN licensure and certifications (BLS, ACLS, NRP) or plans to obtain them within specified timelines. Experience in L&D is preferred, with shifts 7:00pm-7:30am and 24-hour control hours.

Responsibilities include nursing assessments, planning, implementing, coordinating care with the team, and ensuring compliance. Benefits include PTO, health coverage, and retirement plans.

Qualificações

• CT RN license is required.
• ACLS, NRP and BLS certifications required or must be obtained within specified timelines.
• EFM certification required or must be obtained within 12 months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Perform assessments using the nursing process in collaboration with the health care team.
• Formulate a goal-directed plan of care prioritizing patient needs.
• Implement care in a knowledgeable, skillful, and consistent manner.
• Establish priorities of patient care based on essential needs and resources.
• Evaluate patient progress toward outcomes and adjust care as needed.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge needs.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary functions and ensure compliance responsibilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
