Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking Labor and Delivery RNs to monitor mother and baby, coach families through birth, and assist doctors during labor and cesarean deliveries. LD RNs may float to Postpartum or Mother Baby as census requires.

Eligible candidates hold a BSN or ADN with NCLEX and an active RN license; NRP and AWHONN are often required. Clinicians should have about 3 years of LD experience and be available for 4–6 shifts per month.

Qualifications

• BSN or ADN required with NCLEX and active RN license.
• 3 years of LD experience.
• NRP and AWHONN often required.

Responsibilities

• Perform triage and monitor mother and baby during labor.
• Catch babies during delivery and assist in cesarean procedures.
• Circulate during C-sections and manage high- and low-risk patients.
• Scrub experience is preferred and floating to Postpartum may be required.
• Work 4-6 shifts per month.
