Job summary

The Hanover Insurance Group, Inc. invites students to a 10-week Summer Internship in Worcester, MA. The program offers hands-on experience across Learning & Development, Knowledge Management, and data-driven projects within the Learning Operations team.

You will tag courses, collect data, and optimize content across the knowledge ecosystem, while gaining exposure to SharePoint architecture and cross-functional collaboration with mentors and peers.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or advanced degree program.
• Pursuing degree in Learning & Development, Organizational Management, Information Science/Information Technology; MIS, or Business Analytics preferred.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Ability to commit to a full time 10-week internship program.
• Ability to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
• Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Preferred Technical Experience: LMS/CMS such as Workday Learning, Cornerstone, Docebo, SharePoint, SQL Servers.
• Data Visualization Tools: PowerBI or Tableau.
• Data Analysis & Manipulation: Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPS, pivot tables), Power BI, or basic SQL.
• Design Basics: SharePoint modern web parts.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily Learning Operations team functions (e.g., learning content tagging, data collection, and catalog management).
• Audit knowledge architecture and content tagging to streamline employee searches.
• Support learning platform access, enrollment, and lifecycle management in the LMS/CMS.
• Lead the Internship Project to design a consolidated Business L&D SharePoint architecture.
• Create documentation and user guides for standard procedures and assets.
