Job summary

Mortenson is seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to design impactful learning solutions and deliver experiences that drive talent development across the organization. You will partner with the business to design programs and serve as a facilitator who brings these experiences to life.

Through both instructional design and delivery, you will evolve how we develop talent, collaborate with HR and leaders, and leverage data to continuously improve offerings, onboarding, and cross-functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or Instructional Design or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in instructional design, development, and facilitation.
• Minimum 3 years managing multiple instructional design projects concurrently.
• Articulate Rise experience and graphic design preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply instructional design skills and design thinking to a variety of learning projects.
• Develop engaging, learner-centered content and course materials (online courses, facilitator guides, participant materials, presentations, tools).
• Source or create graphics and visuals to enhance learner experience.
• Lead in-person and virtual onboarding and skill training sessions and workshops.
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners, leaders, participants and supervisors on programming.
• Use data and insights to improve offerings and measure impact.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources / Instructional Design or equivalent
