Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to oversee the nursing operations of a unit and ensure continuous patient care. In the absence of the Manager or Director, you may assume 24-hour nursing responsibility and guide staff on clinical standards.

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, hold an active Georgia RN license, and have at least three years of clinical experience with one year in a specialty area; a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Three (3) years experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty OR
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing with two (2) years of experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty.

Responsibilities

• The Clinical Supervisor is a member of the unit-based leadership team and provides supervision of the nursing operations of a unit.
• In the absence of the Manager or Director may assume 24-hour nursing responsibility.
• Works with a unit specific patient population.
