Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to join our nursing leadership team in the Atlanta area. The successful candidate will oversee unit nursing operations and provide leadership in the absence of the Unit Manager or Director, ensuring 24-hour nursing coverage for a specified patient population.

Required qualifications include an accredited nursing degree, an RN license in Georgia (or NLC/eNLC), BLS certification and a minimum of three years in a clinical setting with at least one

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Three (3) years experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty.
• Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate license.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

Responsibilities

• The Clinical Supervisor is a member of the unit-based leadership team.
• Provides supervision of the nursing operations of a unit.
• In the absence of the Manager or Director may assume 24-hour nursing responsibility.
• Works with a unit specific patient population.
