Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to join its nursing leadership team. The role oversees unit nursing operations and, in the absence of the Manager or Director, may assume 24-hour responsibility for patient care across a designated unit.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited nursing program, with 3 years of clinical experience (or a Bachelor's in Nursing with 2 years in the specialty), holds a Georgia RN license or multistate license, and BLS certification, with

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 3 years clinical experience with at least 1 year in area of specialty; OR Bachelor's degree in Nursing with 2 years in specialty.
• Current Georgia RN license (or Multistate NLC/eNLC) and BLS certification.
• Color vision acuity as required by unit.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing operations on a unit as part of the unit-based leadership team.
• In the absence of the Manager or Director, may assume 24-hour nursing responsibility.
• Work with a unit-specific patient population.
