Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to join the unit-based leadership team. You will supervise the nursing operations of a unit and may assume 24-hour responsibility in the absence of the Manager or Director.

The position requires a nursing degree, current Georgia RN license (or Multistate), BLS certification, and color vision as appropriate for the unit. Night shift is 7pm–7am with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Three (3) years experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty OR
• Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate license
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing with two (2) years of experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty.

Responsibilities

• The Clinical Supervisor is a member of the unit-based leadership team.
• Provides supervision of the nursing operations of a unit.
• In the absence of the Manager or Director may assume 24-hour nursing responsibility.
• Works with a unit specific patient population.
