Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to lead nursing operations on a unit, providing supervision and guiding staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

The role requires a nursing degree, GA RN license, BLS certification, and several years of clinical experience; the successful candidate will work with the unit leadership team and may assume 24-hour responsibility in the absence of management.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Three (3) years experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty OR
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing with two (2) years of experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty.
• Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate license
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

Responsibilities

• Provides supervision of the nursing operations of a unit.
• In the absence of the Manager or Director may assume 24-hour nursing responsibility.
• Works with a unit specific patient population.
