Job summary

Mercury is seeking a detail-oriented professional to join the ODD team in Canada. The role focuses on reviewing existing accounts for regulatory compliance, performing KYC refreshes and EDDF, and supporting our BPO partners with escalations related to CIP, CDD, and EDD.

You will be expected to work autonomously in a fast-paced queue-based environment, maintaining rigorous documentation and high-quality review outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
• Self-motivated, fast-paced environment suitability.
• Ability to work autonomously in a queue-based role and maintain an organized inbox.

Responsibilities

• Conduct KYC Refresh and/or Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) Reviews as needed.
• Identify opportunities to reduce unnecessary volumes through trend analysis.
• Support BPO partners with escalations tied to CIP, CIP/CIP & EDD review processes.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and customers.
• After account review, document rationale to maintain or exit decisions.
• Identify and escalate any potential issues to management.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all reviews.
