Job summary

Coinflow is seeking a KYC Analyst in Chicago to oversee the Know Your Customer and Know Your Business lifecycle for merchants, conducting thorough reviews and driving process improvements. You will develop SOPs, design workflows, and partner with Product and Engineering to enhance tooling and automation.

You will protect the platform from regulatory risk while collaborating with Compliance & Risk, Engineering, Integrations, and Support to ensure compliant onboarding and scalable operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of KYC/AML experience in fintech, payments, or banking.
• Subject matter expert in jurisdictional compliance for entities and individuals.
• Familiar with fraud signals and detecting them during KYC review.
• Develop and manage program-level processes with growth into a team lead role.
• Strong communication skills and ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Political Science/Liberal Arts, Business, Economics or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee KYC/KYB reviews throughout merchant onboarding, ensuring compliance and scalability.
• EDD reviews during onboarding with escalation paths for leadership sign-off as needed.
• Handle post-onboarding merchant requests for product or regional expansion with due diligence.
• Oversee periodic reviews and recordkeeping; coordinate updated documentation.
• Drive KYC/KYB initiatives across regions, products, and banking relationships with playbooks.
• Provide guidance on KYC documentation requirements to internal stakeholders.
• Perform compliance assessments of partner KYC/AML programs for reliance standards.
