Job summary

Rush Street Interactive is seeking a Risk & Payments Analyst for a hybrid role in Collingswood, NJ. You will review withdrawals, perform KYC, monitor for fraud, and support payment-related inquiries.

You’ll collaborate with fraud and compliance teams to ensure regulatory alignment, maintain logs, and identify process gaps for improvement. A strong analytics background and Excel/BI tooling are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in payments, fraud, risk, compliance, or operations (iGaming or fintech preferred).
• Strong understanding of payment methods, chargebacks, and fraud detection principles.
• Familiarity with KYC/AML processes and regulatory environments is a plus.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify patterns and assess risk.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and process withdrawals and customer documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
• Conduct KYC verification, including review, approval, or rejection of customer-submitted documents.
• Monitor player activity to identify, investigate, and elevate potential fraud or suspicious behavior.
• Respond to escalated customer inquiries related to payments, fraud, and account activity.
• Support Customer Support and other teams with payment-related questions and issue resolution.
• Maintain accurate records and logs in accordance with jurisdictional and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, SOPs, and all applicable regulatory standards.
• Identify trends, risks, and process gaps, and provide feedback to leadership and product teams.
• Collaborate with team members to support quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Escalate complex or high-risk issues to management in a timely manner.
