Job summary

Kyivstar seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to own the end-to-end infrastructure for its Big Data products, spanning cloud and on-premises environments. You will architect, provision, and optimize CI/CD, observability, and incident response while collaborating with remote teams.

The role emphasizes building scalable pipelines for Big Data and AI solutions, managing AWS and on-prem resources, and continuously improving deployment and monitoring practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Practical experience with cloud providers (AWS preferred).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitLab).
• Strong hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (preferably Terraform).
• Solid understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems and networking fundamentals.
• Strong hands-on experience with scripting languages (Bash and/or Python).
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL or similar).
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
• Proven experience working with remote/distributed teams.
• Experience with AI agents or AI-driven tooling is a plus.
