Job summary

Mercor seeks an evaluator to assess Kubernetes tasks used to train frontier AI models. You will review cluster-operations scenarios, manifest correctness, and failure-mode troubleshooting, delivering rubric-based written feedback.

Candidates should have 3+ years of hands-on production Kubernetes experience and deep knowledge of CNI/DNS/ingress, PV/PVC, RBAC, and common failure modes; proficiency in Go, Python, or TypeScript is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on production Kubernetes experience.
• Deep understanding of cluster internals: CNI/DNS/ingress, PV/PVC storage, RBAC, and failure modes (CrashLoopBackOff, OOMKilled, scheduling/eviction).
• Experience authoring and reviewing manifests / Helm charts and debugging live cluster incidents.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, or TypeScript.
