Job summary

Obsidian seeks a Kubernetes-focused evaluator to judge task quality and production-readiness for frontier AI model training and evaluation. You will review cluster operations, manifests, and failure modes, delivering rubric-based feedback to guide improvements.

Required are 3+ years in production Kubernetes, strong understanding of cluster internals, and proficiency in Go, Python, or TypeScript. Experience with Helm and observability tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands‑on production Kubernetes experience (EKS/GKE/AKS or self‑managed).
• Deep understanding of cluster internals: CNI/DNS/ingress, PV/PVC storage, RBAC, and failure modes.
• Experience authoring and reviewing manifests / Helm charts and debugging live cluster incidents.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, or TypeScript.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years hands‑on production Kubernetes experience (EKS/GKE/AKS or self‑managed)
• Deep understanding of cluster internals: CNI/DNS/ingress, PV/PVC storage, RBAC, and failure modes (CrashLoopBackOff, OOMKilled, scheduling/eviction)
• Experience authoring and reviewing manifests / Helm charts and debugging live cluster incidents
• Proficiency in Go, Python, or TypeScript

Preferred Qualifications

• CKA / CKAD certification
• Service‑mesh, autoscaling, and observability experience (Istio, HPA, Prometheus/Grafana)
• Prior SRE / platform‑engineering or task‑grading experience
