Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Software Development Manager for AWS EKS to lead teams responsible for Kubernetes infrastructure that powers EKS at scale. You will own the roadmap, coordinate with partner teams, and drive reliability across multi-cluster environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 7+ years of working directly within engineering teams.
• 3+ years of designing or architecting new and existing systems.
• 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services.
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams.
• Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software lifecycle, including coding standards, reviews, source control, build, testing, and live-site operations.

Responsibilities

• Define product and technical direction and architecture.
• Coordinate with adjacent teams to deliver features on schedule.
• Own operational posture end to end: on-call, incident response, availability metrics.
• Build and grow a high-performing team with a culture of ownership.
