Groq, Inc. is seeking a Senior Kubernetes Platform Engineer to own and evolve our Kubernetes-based platform that underpins Groq's cloud infrastructure. You’ll design scalable systems, build automation, and collaborate with engineers to deploy workloads reliably as Groq scales.

You will operate in a remote capacity with a future transition to onsite at one of our hubs (San Francisco, Dallas, or New York City). This role demands ownership, reliability, and strong collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering foundations with production infra experience.
• Deep hands-on Kubernetes experience and architectural design.
• Experience owning Kubernetes environments in production and upgrades.
• Experience building automation for cloud or infrastructure platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture, development, reliability of Groq's Kubernetes-based platform.
• Design and build scalable Kubernetes-based systems.
• Develop automation to simplify deployment, operation, and scaling of workloads.
• Improve resilience, observability, and performance of the platform.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive full lifecycle improvements.
