Job summary

Portworx by Everpure seeks a Cloud Native Architect to be the customer-facing vanguard for Kubernetes everywhere. You will deliver deep technical and business expertise to help run stateful apps in containers and automate Day 2 data-management workflows.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years as a senior technical architect, strong stage presence with customers, and leadership by influence. Expect regional travel and a competitive base salary.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a customer facing senior technical architect.
• Strong stage presence, comfortable with customers.
• Team oriented leader who influences through action.
• 5+ years Linux administration/development with cert.
• 3+ years Kubernetes administration with KCNA+ cert.
• Fluent in OpenShift/Rancher or similar orchestration.
• Fluent with Cloud IaaS: VMware/AWS/Azure/GCP/OpenStack.
• Fluent with DevOps tools: Ansible, Terraform, Docker, CI/CD.
• Experience with data engineering, big data, DB ops.
• Understanding of data platforms across on-prem, hybrid, cloud.

Responsibilities

• Provide deep technical and business expertise to customers.
• Run stateful apps in containers and automate Day 2 data workflows.
• Present solutions and thought leadership to customers.
• Translate complex problems into a simple, customer-ready vision.
• Travel regionally up to 50% as needed.
