Job summary

Portworx by Everpure is seeking a Cloud Native Architect to lead the Kubernetes Everywhere initiative. This customer‑facing role provides deep technical and business expertise to help clients run stateful apps in containers and automate Day 2 data management workflows.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years as a senior technical architect, strong leadership, Kubernetes/OpenShift, cloud IaaS and DevOps tool fluency, and is able to travel up to 50% regionally; base salary range is $156,100–$234,500 USD.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a customer-facing senior technical architect.
• Proven track record presenting to customers.
• Experience coaching teams and influencing behavior.
• 5+ years Linux admin/dev experience with cert.
• 3+ years Kubernetes admin + KCNA or above.
• Fluency in OpenShift/Rancher or other Kubernetes environments.
• Fluency with Cloud IaaS (AWS/Azure/GCP etc).
• Fluency with DevOps tools (Ansible, Terraform, Docker, CI/CD).
• Fluency in data engineering, big data, and database ops.
• Understanding data platforms for on‑prem/hybrid/cloud.
• Understanding enterprise app lifecycle and container platforms.
• Ability to distill problems into a vision for customer outcomes.
• Bias for continuous improvement.
• Travel up to 50% regionally.
