Job summary

The Salvation Army Kroc Center in Coeur d'Alene, ID is seeking a friendly Kroc Attendant I to support facility operations and engage patrons, focusing on the climbing wall and game room while coordinating with larger programs.

You will provide superior customer service, reinforce safety guidelines, supervise activities, and help with program setup during shifts; a willingness to learn and connect with people of all ages is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 16 years old with reliable transportation to the Kroc Center.
• Must hold and maintain current American Red Cross Community First Aid/CPR/AED certification; must obtain within 60 days if not held.
• Strong desire and ability to work with children and adults.
• Maintain a non-judgmental attitude when working with customers, clients, members and staff.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Thrive in a team-oriented environment; be a team player.
• Maintain strict confidentiality as needed.

Responsibilities

• Promote the Mission of The Salvation Army.
• Ensure that everyone views the Kroc Center as a safe place to belong and grow.
• Be professional and trustworthy in carrying out duties.
• Assist with implementation and coordination of programming during shifts.
• Possess a general understanding of department areas and programming.
• Understand the Kroc Center’s Emergency Action Plan and your role within it.
• Demonstrate integrity, enthusiasm and sound moral judgment.
• Relate joyfully and sensitively to members and guests of all ages.
• Use positive discipline appropriately and consistently.
• Maintain vigilant supervision at all times.
• Report all abuse, neglect, injuries, or concerns to supervisor and escalate as needed.
