The Ruby Slipper Cafe is seeking a shift supervisor excited about running a growing brunch‑only concept restaurant. This role focuses on leading the team during morning hours and delivering a memorable guest experience.

You will manage staff, ensure smooth service, and help your team reach their full potential while upholding high standards for food and hospitality. Come grow with us across our expanding brands.

Qualifications

• Three years of front- or back-of-house experience.
• Knowledge of service and food & beverage operations.
• Ability to operate a POS system.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service.
• Motivate and coach staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Take charge of the shift while supporting the team to reach their full potential.

A shift supervisor who is excited about running a growing brunch-only concept restaurant.

Ruby WANTS:

A motivated morning person who can manage both pancakes and people. We want someone who will take charge of the restaurant while helping their staff reach their full potential, while ensuring an exceptional dining experience for every guest every time.

The Highlights of a Successful Krewe Captain:

• Strong verbal and communication skills.


• Has knowledge of service and food and beverage operations. Generally, has at least three years of front or back of the house positional experience.


• Possess excellent basic math and technology skills and has the ability to operate a POS system.


• Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours).


• Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.


• Must have the stamina to work 40-45 hours per week.


• Must be willing and able to train/coach team to success


• Able to perform delicate tasks to achieve success.
