Job summary

Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Inc. in Alabama offers an internship focused on supply chain analytics and BI.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business Administration, fluent in English with basic German, and familiar with Power BI and Office applications.

Qualifications

• Student in Industrial Engineering or related field
• Fluent English; basic German preferred
• Proficient in reports and MS Office
• Basic supply chain understanding
• Project management skills beneficial
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Open-minded with cross-cultural exposure
• Flexible in fast-paced environment
• Supplier development/manufacturing knowledge favorable
• Knowledge of automotive industry a plus
• Power BI and Microsoft Power Platform experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop KPI dashboards to aid supplier management
• Prepare KPI-based top management presentations
• Participate in national and international project meetings
• Present current supplier capacity status in project meetings
• Analyze supplier-related data points
• Visit local suppliers to gain manufacturing knowledge
• Collaborate with team in external communications with suppliers
• Support code development with team data analysts
