Job summary

Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Inc. in Alabama is offering an internship in Finance System Project Support for international students.

The role focuses on process digitalization, reporting improvements, and supporting the financial operations team on CI initiatives. The internship requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance/Controlling or related fields, strong Excel skills (VBA preferred), and familiarity with Power BI and SAP.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or enrolled in university or gap year between bachelor and masters
• Studies outside of the U.S.
• Minimum of 3 semesters in relevant field
• Available for at least 6 months
• Experience with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel; VBA preferred

Responsibilities

• Support Financial Operations with continuous improvement projects and digitalization efforts
• Use Power BI, Excel Power Query, PowerPoint (ThinkCell) and OneNote to improve reporting efficiency
• Generate ideas for CI using new technology
• Develop automated solutions for manual tasks using RPA, Power BI, Power Query
• Handle monthly QTC tire payment process
• Create/edit/refine work instructions and process documentation
• Assist project management for new financial system implementation
• Support meetings/events organization and ad-hoc reporting
