Job summary

Daimler Truck North America seeks a Finance and Controlling Specialist to independently build new financial processes, identify gaps, and align finance with IT initiatives. The role covers AP/AR operations, customer billing, and KPI-driven cost improvements across multiple DTNA entities in Jacksonville.

The incumbent will develop documentation, process maps, and compliance artifacts while supporting training and change management for evolving processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting.
• 2–4 years of relevant finance experience.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, formulas, analysis).
• Experience with AR/AP, customer billing, and ledger reconciliation.
• Ability to build financial processes from scratch and perform gap analyses.
• Strong analytical skills for fraud detection and cost improvement.
• Affinity for IT and contributing to the financial IT landscape.
• Excellent communication and coordination with outsourced finance operations.
• Experience creating business requirements, process maps, and compliance docs.

Responsibilities

• Support AP/AR operations and reconcile ledgers.
• Manage customer billing and payments.
• Monitor KPIs for the PDI in Jacksonville and the parts business.
• Identify and implement process improvements and cost reductions.
• Develop documentation such as business requirements and process maps.
• Coordinate with outsourced providers and manage vendor relations.
• Support training and change management activities for new processes.
