Motion Recruitment Partners LLC is hiring a Back End Developer to design, develop, implement, and support the back end of scalable Kotlin/Java based web applications in a fast-paced, agile environment in Smyrna, GA.

The role focuses on high-performance multithreaded architecture with opportunities to explore AI APIs, image recognition frameworks, and cloud platforms, alongside solid frontend exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Solid understanding of API design, data structures, caching, design patterns, and multithreaded, high-performance architecture.
• Comfortable working in a casual but fast-paced agile environment.
• Java 11+ and Kotlin (coroutine expertise required for senior-level candidates).
• Front-end experience with jQuery, AngularJS, or React (big plus).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and support the back end of complex, scalable, secure Kotlin/Java-based web applications.
• Build using the latest frameworks, languages, and tools.
• Apply solid understanding of API design, data structures, caching, and design patterns.
• Contribute to multithreaded, high-performance architecture.
• Collaborate within a casual, fast-paced agile team.
