Job summary

Middlebury College’s School of Korean invites applications for adjunct faculty to teach in the MA Korean program across four terms: Summer1, Fall, Spring, and Summer 2. Summer sessions are on the beautiful campus in Middlebury, Vermont, with hybrid delivery for both semesters.

The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in the field, a research record in KFL, and experience teaching graduate courses. ABDs may be considered. In-person roles include lodging and a complete meal plan.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in the field or ABDs considered under certain circumstances
• Experience teaching graduate level courses in Korean as a Foreign Language or related fields
• Commitment to student learning and collaboration with instructional team

Responsibilities

• Develop synchronous and asynchronous curriculum for MA Korean courses
• Teach graduate‑level Korean courses across four terms (Summer1, Fall, Spring, Summer2)
• Collaborate with language instructors to support student learning
