Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Korean Language Expert to help evaluate and improve AI systems for Korean language learning. You will shape how AI understands and responds to learners, drawing on teaching experience and linguistic insight.

The role is remote with a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week and fully asynchronous scheduling. Prior AI experience is not required, making it accessible to skilled language professionals looking for flexible freelance work.

Qualifications

• Native-level proficiency in Korean.
• Experience teaching Korean or evaluating learner language.
• Fluent in English (C1/C2 level).
• Familiar with CEFR frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated Korean speech and text for linguistic accuracy, naturalness, and educational quality.
• Assess learner speech and writing from CEFR Pre-A1 through B2+.
• Identify learner errors, unnatural phrasing, and pedagogical gaps with expert judgment.
• Provide clear, structured feedback to improve AI tutoring and language-learning models.
• Collaborate asynchronously with project leads and fellow language experts.
• Contribute to raising the overall quality and reliability of AI language instruction.
