Job summary

Hacienda is seeking a Bartender to greet guests, craft drinks according to recipes, and provide a memorable Fiesta Experience. You will work with a team to serve guests and ensure quick, friendly service while upselling specials and maintaining a clean bar area.

Applicants must be 21+, able to obtain Indiana liquor licensing, and able to stand for long periods; lifting up to 25 pounds may be required. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain a liquor license in the state of Indiana.
• Must provide responsible alcohol service.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Able to operate POS and handle guest payments.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests promptly and take drink orders.
• Provide a Fiesta Experience and upsell specials.
• Serve Guests and support servers to ensure fast service.
• Be a Team player and deliver wow moments.
• Read guests and tailor experiences to their vibe.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked bar area.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Greet Guests promptly with “Margaritas today?” and provide fresh Chips and Salsa.
• Provide a FIESTA EXPERIENCE for our Guests!
• Serve our Guests (and the Servers serving Guests) quickly and efficiently.
• Be a Team player
• Make our Guests say “WOW…That was a fun, wacky, unexpected, unforgettable, experience!
• Get drink orders and suggest a “Margarita Today?” to anyone over the age of 21.
• Card Guests under the age of 40.
• “Read” the guest and deliver the experience they want on this visit
• Suggestive Sell Specials and Extras
• Maintain a Clean and Well-Stocked Area

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

• Regular and reliable attendance
• Must be able to be on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Must provide responsible alcohol service
• Must be able to obtain a liquor license in the state of Indiana
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Handle Guests’ payments by either providing change or processing credit/gift card payments
• Able to operate the POS system
• Verify identification and age requirements of Guests
• Prepares and maintains ingredients by following recipes
