Job summary

Hacienda is seeking a bartender to join our team. You will greet guests, take drink orders, and deliver a festive, guest-obsessed experience by following recipes and offering margaritas. You’ll work with a team to ensure fast service while maintaining a clean bar and accurate payments.

Ideal candidates are at least 21, able to obtain an Indiana liquor license, stand for long periods, and lift up to 25 pounds. A fun, high-energy attitude is essential to wow guests.

Qualifications

• Must obtain a liquor license in Indiana.
• Be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Must provide responsible alcohol service.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests and take drink orders, promoting margarita specials.
• Provide a Fiesta Experience and quick, friendly service.
• Operate the bar and POS system to handle payments.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked area and stock ingredients per recipes.
• Identify guests age and ensure compliance with ID checks.

Your focus will be to follow Hacienda recipes and provide drinks for Guests. You will be part of a team with a common goal, BE GUEST OBSESSED! And don’t forget to have FUN!

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Greet Guests promptly with “Margaritas today?” and provide fresh Chips and Salsa.
• Provide a FIESTA EXPERIENCE for our Guests!
• Serve our Guests (and the Servers serving Guests) quickly and efficiently.
• Be a Team player
• Make our Guests say “WOW…That was a fun, wacky, unexpected, unforgettable, experience!
• Get drink orders and suggest a “Margarita Today?” to anyone over the age of 21.
• Card Guests under the age of 40.
• “Read” the guest and deliver the experience they want on this visit
• Suggestive Sell Specials and Extras
• Maintain a Clean and Well-Stocked Area

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

• Regular and reliable attendance
• Must be able to be on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Must provide responsible alcohol service
• Must be able to obtain a liquor license in the state of Indiana
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Handle Guests’ payments by either providing change or processing credit/gift card payments
• Able to operate the POS system
• Verify identification and age requirements of Guests
• Prepares and maintains ingredients by following recipes
