Job summary

BTS Software Solutions is seeking a Knowledge Manager (Mid) for a position in Linthicum, MD. The role focuses on planning, coordinating, and managing knowledge management tasks in support of the DoD Intelligence Directorate, with a TS/SCI w/ Poly clearance requirement.

The candidate will evaluate KM applications, support planning conferences, and provide rotational forward deployment support, including creating KM CBTs for the DoD customer. Strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in KM, library services, digital collections or reference support
• Security+ or equivalent certification
• MS55033 site collection admin course equivalent

Responsibilities

• Collect, identify, collate, update, document, disseminate knowledge management processes and documentation for HQ and forward support
• Evaluate KM applications and support working groups and planning conferences
• Fill KM positions in forward deployed locations, providing in-theater support
• Create, maintain and publish KM CBT videos and documents for the DoD customer

Position Summary

Knowledge Management professional supports planning, integrating, coordinating, directing, synchronizing, and managing the knowledge and information management tasks and priorities of the DOD Intelligence Directorate.

Principle Responsibilities of the Position

• Collect, identify, collate, update, document, disseminate, recommend, maintain, and implement knowledge management processes, system architecture/information flow, and functional requirements/documentation for the DOD Headquarters and Forward Support.
• Evaluate knowledge management applications and support working groups and planning conferences.
• Fill knowledge management positions in forward deployed locations on a routine rotational basis, providing direct support to in-theater operations
• Create, maintain, and publish knowledge management CBT videos and associated documents for the DOD customer.

Education Required

• 3+ yrs. experience in KM, Library services, digital collections, Reference support services
• Security + or CompTIA Equivalent
• Site Collection Administration Course equivalent to MS55033

Skills Required

• Experienced in SharePoint business processes.
• Experienced with Intelligence Information Sharing tools and applications.
• Demonstrated expert written and oral communication skills.
