Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Knowledge Management Specialist / Data Scientist to bridge raw data and organizational intelligence. Located at Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii, you will build models, pipelines, and dashboards while maintaining KM contexts across classified and unclassified networks.

You will guide cross-functional teams, translate complex IT concepts into accessible documentation, and support international S&T initiatives with a focus on collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of data collection, organization, and distribution tools.
• Experience with SharePoint, MS Teams, and collaboration platforms.
• Ability to translate IT concepts into clear documentation for diverse audiences.
• Experience in knowledge management and data science within mission-focused environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide KM, data science analytics, and support across US PACOM J85 S&T Division.
• Design predictive models, tests, and analyses to forecast operational constraints and resource demands.
• Build and maintain data pipelines, analytical models, and dashboards using Python, SQL, and R.
• Manage MS Teams and SharePoint permissions and KM SOPs across networks.
• Coordinate international S&T initiatives (POST, JIE) and support workshops.
