Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Knowledge Management Specialist / Technical Writer to support US PACOM initiatives from Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii. You will translate complex IT concepts into clear documentation for diverse audiences and maintain knowledge ecosystems across SharePoint and Teams.

The role requires editing excellence, strong organizational skills, and experience with AI tools. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, military stakeholders, and international partners while advancing KM

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or 10 years’ related experience in information management or DoD DoW context.
Advanced proficiency in SharePoint 2016 and SharePoint Online/M365, permissions and metadata.
Strong editing/writing skills and ability to communicate to diverse audiences including ESL.

Responsibilities

Provide knowledge management, editing/writing, and admin support to US PACOM J85 S&T Division.
Design and manage KM ecosystems in SharePoint/Teams; maintain SOPs and permissions.
Author, edit SOPs, system guides, manuals, and technical briefings for international audiences.
Coordinate KM training and support international S&T initiatives (POST, JIE).
Prepare papers, coordinate meetings, and track actions using ETMS2 across multiple classification levels.
