Job summary

Cook Systems is seeking an experienced Knowledge Management Architect to develop the infrastructure and processes to capture, share, and utilize organizational knowledge gained through system interventions. The role oversees identifying critical knowledge and aligning it with business needs across groups.

You will model information sources and flows, establish knowledge architecture standards, and collaborate with operations and IT to ensure delivery, security, and cross-functional decision

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, information systems, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years IT and business/industry experience.
• Expertise in process and data modeling and architectural development.
• Strong knowledge of document management, groupware, relational database systems, data warehouse and data mining.
• Experience in web and systems analysis/development.
• Proven leadership with credibility with business leaders and stakeholders.
• Ability to work on high-complexity projects and make informed decisions across multiple technical areas and business segments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement infrastructure to capture and share organizational knowledge.
• Oversee identification and utilization of critical knowledge across business groups.
• Model information sources, flows, and critical paths to convert information into knowledge.
• Facilitate the development of supporting knowledge architecture and standards.
• Define an operational framework to implement delivery systems, systems management, and security frameworks.
• Collaborate with IT groups for cohesive cross-functional decision-making.
• Provide leadership in complex IT and business decisions.
• Coach and mentor junior technical staff as SME on high-complexity projects.
