Job summary

Cook Systems is seeking an experienced Knowledge Management Architect to develop the infrastructure and processes to capture, share, and utilize organizational knowledge gained through system interventions. The role oversees identifying critical knowledge and aligning it with business needs across groups.

You will model information sources and flows, establish knowledge architecture standards, and collaborate with operations and IT to ensure delivery, security, and cross-functional decision

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, information systems, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years IT and business/industry experience.
• Expertise in process and data modeling and architectural development.
• Strong knowledge of document management, groupware, relational database systems, data warehouse and data mining.
• Experience in web and systems analysis/development.
• Proven leadership with credibility with business leaders and stakeholders.
• Ability to work on high-complexity projects and make informed decisions across multiple technical areas and business segments.

The role involves overseeing the identification of critical knowledge, its usage, availability, and aligning it with the needs of various business groups. The ideal candidate will facilitate the development of knowledge architecture and standards, partnering with operations staff to ensure the delivery of knowledge and information to appropriate groups.

Responsibilities:

• Coach and mentor junior technical staff, acting as a subject matter expert on high-complexity projects.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of 7 years of IT and business/industry work experience.
• Expertise in process and data modeling, architectural development methodologies, and IT planning methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of document management, groupware, relational database systems, data warehouse, and data mining.
• Experience in web and systems analysis/development.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to gain credibility with business leaders and stakeholders.
• Ability to work on high-complexity projects and make informed decisions across multiple technical areas and business segments.
