Job summary

SBH Fashion is seeking a Technical Designer for Active, Knits, and Lounge categories. You will create tech packs, specify garment construction, grade patterns, and coordinate with design on fit improvements.

Ideal candidates have 3–4 years in technical design, strong skills in Illustrator/Photoshop, and familiarity with PLM systems. You will collaborate across teams to ensure fast, accurate delivery of samples and final specs.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of work experience in technical design.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
• Familiar with Flex PLM (preferred).
• Analyze fit corrections and communicate corrections.
• Clear knowledge of garment construction.
• Basic patternmaking and grading.
• Strong visual, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Calm multi-tasker, solution oriented with a positive attitude, and ability to work fast and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Create tech packs.
• Specify garments, grade & construction specs.
• Develop and create sample comments.
• Attend fittings and identify major fit issues.
• Attend sample reviews for design changes.
• Check sample fit and identify all changes needed for fit approval.
• Create comments in Adobe Illustrator.
• Check and approve grading specs.
• Check and create TOP comments.
• Check and create ship sample comment.
