Paceline is seeking an experienced Knitting Mechanic to keep our circular and flat knitting machines running smoothly on the 2nd shift. You will troubleshoot issues, perform repairs, and carry out routine maintenance to minimize downtime and keep production on track.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of knitting or textile equipment maintenance, a solid mechanical background, and the ability to read manuals and schematics.

Formación

• High school diploma or technical certification in mechanical or industrial maintenance.
• 2+ years of experience maintaining knitting or textile machinery.
• Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting skills preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work shifts, overtime, or weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect, maintain, and repair circular and/or flat knitting machines.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to reduce machine downtime.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues and implement timely solutions.
• Replace or repair defective components such as needles, sinkers, cams, feeders, and yarn carriers.
• Set up machines for style changes and production runs.
• Calibrate machines to ensure quality standards and fabric specifications are met.
• Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
• Assist in training machine operators on basic maintenance procedures.

• Willingness to work shifts, overtime, or weekends as required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with noise and moving machinery
