Job summary

Paceline is seeking a Hosiery Machine Mechanic for 1st shift in a manufacturing environment. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain hosiery machines to minimize downtime and support production.

The role requires experience with knitting machinery, the ability to read manuals and schematics, and a commitment to safety and quality. Training will be provided for production style changes and machine setup.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical certification in mechanical or industrial maintenance.
• 2+ years of experience maintaining knitting or textile machinery.
• Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair circular and/or flat knitting machines, Lonati & Matec machines
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to reduce machine downtime
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues and implement timely solutions
• Replace or repair defective components such as needles, sinkers, cams, feeders, and yarn carriers
• Set up machines for style changes and production runs
• Calibrate machines to ensure quality standards and fabric specifications are met
• Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
• Assist in training machine operators on basic maintenance procedures
