Job summary
rag & bone is seeking an experienced and hands-on Manager of Product Development and Production for cut and sew knits to manage product creation across Men’s and Women’s categories. This role oversees development from concept through production, partnering with Design, Merchandising, and global vendors to source fabrics, washes, and trims meeting margin, quality, and timeline targets.
The Manager will handle costing, support the product calendar, and ensure every style is developed and delivered
Qualifications
- 4–6 years of experience in product development and production in cut & sew.
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, Product Development, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of knit yarns, fabrics, garment construction, trims, and wash development.
- Experience with global sourcing, including Asia and Latin America.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end development for Men's and Women's cut & sew knits from concept to production.
- Coordinate with Design, Merchandising, R&D, mills, and factories to meet cost and timeline targets.
- Own production calendars, approvals, and shipments from proto to bulk delivery.
- Mentor junior associates and maintain cross-functional partnerships.
