Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and creative Klaviyo Email Marketing Specialist to manage and execute end-to-end email campaigns across various D2C e-commerce brands. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with hands-on expertise in Klaviyo, a strong grasp of email automation flows, and a passion for copywriting, content creation, and visual email design that drives engagement and sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign & Flow Management
- Develop, implement, and optimize email campaigns in Klaviyo for multiple D2C e-commerce brands.
- Build and manage lifecycle flows (e.g., welcome series, cart/browse abandonment, post-purchase).
- Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, creative, CTAs, and send times to improve open/click/conversion rates.
Content Creation & Design
- Write high-converting, brand-consistent copy for emails and SMS.
- Design visually compelling emails using Klaviyos drag-and-drop editor or custom HTML when required.
- Collaborate with graphic designers (or use Canva/Figma) to develop visually engaging creatives.
- Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-device/email client compatibility.
Analytics & Optimization
- Monitor key metrics (open rate, CTR, revenue per email, deliverability, etc.) and report on campaign performance.
- Analyze audience behavior and segment lists to improve personalization and targeting.
- Suggest data-driven improvements to boost campaign ROI and reduce churn.
Brand Management
- Work closely with e-commerce brand teams to understand positioning, tone of voice, and seasonal marketing goals.
- Maintain brand consistency across all email and SMS communications.
Technical & Tool Expertise
- Deep knowledge of Klaviyo features including segments, flows, dynamic blocks, UTM tagging, and integrations with Shopify, WooCommerce, or other platforms.
- Manage subscriber list hygiene, opt-ins, and GDPR compliance.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Klaviyo email marketing for 10 or more D2C e-commerce brands.
- Strong portfolio of high-performing campaigns and flows.
- Proficiency in email copywriting, email design tools (Klaviyo builder, Canva, or Figma).
- Understanding of D2C marketing funnels and consumer psychology.
- Experience with A/B testing and performance analysis.
- Ability to manage multiple brands and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in consumer industries like fashion, beauty, home dcor, wellness, or food/beverage.
- Working knowledge of Shopify or other e-commerce platforms.
- HTML/CSS for email customization (bonus).
- Familiarity with SMS platforms like Attentive or Postscript (bonus).
