Job summary

RealTruck is seeking an Operational Team Lead to oversee a team of distribution staff, guiding them to meet goals with high quality. The role requires a blend of technical know-how and leadership, paired with strong communication to drive team success.

You will partner with leadership on scheduling, throughput, and cross-training, while ensuring accurate inventory and timely issue resolution. This position emphasizes a positive leadership approach and hands-on mentoring.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and/or combination of experience and education.
• Minimum of 2 years in a distribution setting with some leadership responsibilities.
• 3-5 years in a distribution setting with some leadership responsibilities preferred.
• Knowledge of and experience in kitting functions within a distribution center preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule staffing, optimize labor efficiency, and manage throughput.
• Facilitate cross-training across multiple skill sets with area leads.
• Implement up-to-date work instructions for accuracy.
• Maintain inventory levels with purchasing, customer service, and shipping.
• Communicate maintenance issues and manage consumables.
• Lead and mentor employees to model desirable behaviors.
• Serve as first point of contact for employee issue resolution.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
